Supplement
Glutathione
Glutathione is a tripeptide (gamma-glutamyl-cysteinyl-glycine) that serves as the principal intracellular antioxidant in mammalian cells. It neutralizes reactive oxygen species, regenerates vitamins C and E, and is essential for phase II detoxification via glutathione S-transferase conjugation reactions. It also plays critical roles in immune cell function, protein thiol status maintenance, and xenobiotic metabolism.

Start Tracking — FreeCommon Questions
How do I reconstitute Glutathione?
Add bacteriostatic water to your Glutathione vial (common sizes: 2mg, 3mg, 5mg, 10mg). The amount of BAC water depends on your desired concentration. Use our reconstitution calculator for exact measurements.
What is the typical dose of Glutathione?
A common dose for Glutathione is 300 mg 1-2x/week via intramuscular. 200-400 mg IM/IV, 4-8 week cycles
What is the half-life of Glutathione?
The half-life of Glutathione is approximately 14 minutes. This determines how long the peptide remains active in your body and influences dosing frequency.
How should I store Glutathione?
Store Glutathione at 2-8°C (refrigerated). Reduced glutathione (GSH) oxidizes readily in solution. Keep reconstituted solutions refrigerated in sealed vials. Oral supplements should be stored in a cool, dry place. Liposomal forms may have improved stability. Once reconstituted, use within 14 days.
Is Glutathione FDA approved?
Glutathione is not FDA approved and is available for research purposes only. It has not been evaluated by the FDA for safety or efficacy in humans.
