Anti-Inflammatory
KPV
KPV is a naturally occurring C-terminal tripeptide fragment (Lys-Pro-Val) of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (alpha-MSH). It exerts potent anti-inflammatory effects primarily through inhibition of NF-kappaB nuclear translocation, independent of melanocortin receptor activation. Research has investigated its therapeutic potential in inflammatory bowel disease, dermatitis, and other inflammatory conditions.

How do I reconstitute KPV?
Add bacteriostatic water to your KPV vial (common sizes: 5mg, 10mg). The amount of BAC water depends on your desired concentration. Use our reconstitution calculator for exact measurements.
What is the typical dose of KPV?
A common dose for KPV is 250 mcg 1-2x/day via subcutaneous. C-terminal fragment of alpha-MSH.
What is the half-life of KPV?
The half-life of KPV is approximately 30 minutes. This determines how long the peptide remains active in your body and influences dosing frequency.
How should I store KPV?
Store KPV at 2-8°C (refrigerated). Small tripeptide with good stability. Can be administered subcutaneously or orally (for gut inflammation research). Once reconstituted, use within 21 days.
Is KPV FDA approved?
KPV is not FDA approved and is available for research purposes only. It has not been evaluated by the FDA for safety or efficacy in humans.
