Hexarelin
Hexarelin is a synthetic hexapeptide growth hormone-releasing peptide (GHRP) that stimulates GH secretion by activating the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a) in both the pituitary and hypothalamus. It produces a more potent GH release than GHRP-6 but also elevates cortisol and prolactin levels to a greater degree. Research has additionally identified cardioprotective properties mediated through CD36 scavenger receptor binding.
